🔥 Your Pitch

Kindly write a pitch for your project. Please do not use more than 500 words

We as a team believe that helping the day to day life of common man using our knowledge started from the most fundamental notion - the right to life. Hence, we decided to develop an application that would serve to help people in emergencies and distress, when their life is on the line, or their loved ones. One tap, is all that they should and will need, to be able to get the nearest ambulance, or emergency health services, through our application - that consists of an interface that highlights the nearest ambulances on the map to the user's locations, and also provide an interface to the drivers of ambulances who will be actively listening for emergency events registered by patients through our app, which will be decided using a shortest path algorithm via the API from google maps, with all the data about ambulances, their global coordinates and the patient coordinates, stored on the firebase backend. Since our aim was to solve the common man's problems, we had to aim for minimalism as much as possible, and hence we devised a registration process for drivers, and an OTP login process for users. Having a clean, simplistic and user-friendly UI was also prime for this requirement, evident from our usage of the Bulma css framework. We believed in changing lives for the better, and we believe that the potential for the same has been greatly realized in the past 24 hrs of this hackathon.
