Procedure for setting up a facebook page for your project:

1. Send a link to your Facebook profile to all team members & ask them to send you a friend request.
2. Confirm friend requests
3. Click ‘Create’ & choose ‘Page’ to make a new business page
4. Add the project name, category (non profit organization), description, profile picture & header image
5. Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Page Roles’ > ‘Assign a new page role’ and add your team members names with the appropriate role (Admin/Editor/Moderator/Advertiser/Analyst)
6. Ask team members to accept their role request by checking for the request in their facebook notifications

• Facebook account

Required -

• Where to look for user id and password for these accounts ? Unable to locate any documentation either on Google drive or Github.

@PLoiya the accounts user/pass should be stored in one password. If they are not we will add them.

It's likely that they all use the same email address for recovery greenearthos@hackforla.org.

So if the accounts are not in 1password, then the process would be to log into the email address first and then recover/reset the passwords for each of the social media accounts using the passwords 1password provides when you setup each social measure login.

Facebook is the exception. It's role based so I can add you as an editor. You have to like the page first though.

Facebook account is created with the name Jose Palmer. Login details are saved in 1Password Jose Palmer is now admin of the page.

We need to find the image to upload for Jose Palmer.

Facebook : Tried to access FB to update Jose Palmer's profile pic but password is incorrect and FB having issues letting me update it. Will try again tomorrow.
