Weekly Agenda w/ Bonnie

Discuss the following items:

1. Six Month Roadmap (work in progress) Once we have someone with a UX profile and some work done for HfLA volunteer to be a demonstration for the Linkedin workshop.

2. Survey for gathering feedback regarding CoP meeting (to be review with Bonnie) Needs HfLA logo and brand Change background to align with HfLA Why did we choose that color scheme? Create a communication guide for UX CoP What is the CoP's goal? "We want to hear your feedback to better improve our ability to build a community." (Edit intro) Rather than types of topic, what types of events? Create a UX research plan for improving CoP. (Not mandatory) Ask volunteers what timezone that they are in? Might have impact rather volunteer likes or dislikes event. When formulating questions, it is best practice to ask about previous experience rather than what volunteer would do. 3. Changing meeting time for Tuesday's meeting. Tues at 12 pm PT not possible New time suggestion: 1 pm PT on Wednesday 11 am PTon Wednesday 11am to 12pm PT on Tuesday

Updated the survey. I used a COP form that I found at the google drive and used it as a template.

Two questions about the survey feedback:

1. "Rather than types of topic, what types of events?"- which question are we referring to?
2. "When formulating questions, it is best practice to ask about previous experience rather than what volunteer would do."- is this feedback for the COP UX research plan or the COP event survey?

1. "Rather than types of topic, what types of events?"- which question are we referring to?
2. "When formulating questions, it is best practice to ask about previous experience rather than what volunteer would do."- is this feedback for the COP UX research plan or the COP event survey?

For No. 1, it is referring to the last question on the survey. Bonnie suggested the question be more encompassing. Rather than implying a weekly discussion with the word "topic", we can use the term "event" to indicate a broader set of activities in CoP.

For No. 2, it is a suggestion that Bonnie told us to keep in mind when formulating questions for research.
