Epic: Tracking time sensitive errors #1323

Open plang-psm opened 1 year ago

Overview

We have three errors on the backlog that may be related to one another and need to be tracked in case one solution solves any of the other issues. Please mark off the issues you finish to see if that error resolves any of the others.

Test your issue prior to working on it if any of the below are checked off.

Action Items

If one of the issues below is checked off, begin by testing your issue to see if it has been resolved. Please complete issues in order provided below:

@plang-psm big thanks for your careful considerations and for organizing this to prevent duplicate work

Stashing this in the Icebox since it cant really be worked on like normal issues that go in the Prioritized Backlog

Also knocking the size down because this issue is just for tracking the others and won't require 18 hours of work to maintain

We would like to change the way we are managing this to pick what order these issues should be tried. Issue 1 would go in the prioritized backlog, Issue 2 would go in the icebox with the dependency of issue 1 being unsuccessful, and Issue 3 would go in the icebox with the dependency of issue 2 being unsuccessful.

In issue 2 and 3, the first action item should be checked to see if the issue prior to this one was successful, and if successful, close this issue.

Additionally, the title says "time sensitive errors" - does that mean the errors about time, or in fact these errors are time sensitive and we need to take care of them right away, so we should us a time-sensitive label.
