YJN: First Draft

Rabia2219 commented 1 year ago

Hi All,

Bonnie and I are working on the Info Architecture (and the Google site), in preparation for the workshop.

While doing that, we found that there have been some updates (2023-01-23) to the YJN: Website Navigation Plan document from Doreen.

That led us to audit the Ready for Collabathon1 folder.

In order for it to be clearer where the work Doreen is doing will go into the site, we added some additional folders and categorized the information in the same way the Website Navigation Plan document is. Hopefully that will reduce confusion across both teams.

Specific changes:

  1. Ready for Collabathon 1 had its name changed to Website Sections (used to be called Ready for Collabathon)
  2. Folders were created for each section image
  3. Folders were created for all the numbers 1.0-8.0, and we indicated in the file name how complete it was by measuring against the Website Navigation Plan document. image
  4. Documents 9.1, 9.3, 9.8 and 9.9 were moved to the Section 2: Resources folder image

Audit Results:

  1. Section 1.0 Police Encounters still has unresolved comments
  2. Sections 2.0-8.0 still need legal content for the site

Next Steps:

We understand that the legal content for each section is still a WIP and we don't need all the content for the site now. It is, however, important that the Info Architecture (directories, names, etc.) is stable enough for us to prepare for the workshop and so that we don't have to make changes in multiple places later while we are still using the Google Site framework.

  1. Please let us know that the changes to the YJN: Website Navigation Plan are final.
  2. The sub headings for the section titled How Do I have been struck through. Does that mean that the whole section needs to be removed or that the information inside the section will be changed?

Please do not hesitate to reach out here if you have any questions or need more clarification.

Best,

Rabia
