User Retention [Design] #29

CHALLENGE How do we retain users? Users are giving to us (time commitment, photos, comments, observations, travel), how do we give back in order to retain them?

Some guiding questions: What goal is the user working towards? What is the user's motivation? How can we build trust with our user?

Users want to contribute for these reasons:

Community
Meeting like-minded individuals
Helping future generations
Desire to help
Interest in the arts
Giving back to city
...more?

Hi!

I have been watching the project off and on. You have come a long way! I did read an article (https://gcn.com/articles/2017/01/25/adopt-a-drain.aspx) about the Adopt a Drain program in San Francisco. The adopter was allowed to give the drain a name. Not sure if that would work in this case though. I would assume that civic art is already named.
