In our launch of the project in 2020, we noticed that the following text fields were being used incorrectly by volunteers during data validation within the volunteer portal.
Action Items
[ ] Update volunteer portal to include intended purposes for the following:
[ ] "internalNote" should be used for anything that only we at BallotNav need to be aware of for some reason EX: I am unable to input the hours 1pm-2pm in the hours section."
[ ] "displayNote" is an arbitrary text field that will be presented to the end-user, volunteers should include anything related to them from jurisdiction, ex: There is construction happening at the building, so parking is unavailable.
[ ] "rules" is a text field for any rules that the voter must comply with before being allowed to enter/use/etc that location. EX: All visitors will need to enter through the south gate, all visitors must present valid ID
