Timeline discussed with Bonnie at our4/9 meeting.
1. Improve validation interface between now and midterm elections
2. Ask for funding and partnership with non-partisan organizations or organizations within the voting, democracy, data science, social equity domain. Advocate for funding for security/penetration testing.
3. Product is ready by April 2022, giving us time to promote
As a person who takes care of their sick parents, I want to vote without risking their health
As a person with parents who have health issues, I want them to be able to vote without risking their health
As a person with health issues, I want to vote without risking my health
As a person who has two kids and works two jobs, I want to make sure I have enough time to get my ballot in
As a person who commutes to work every day, I want the certainty of knowing I'll have time to make it to the ballot dropoff in time
As a person who works a 9 to 5 job, I want to vote without having to rush after a long day
As a person who is blind, I want to get the correct information so I know when and where to go
As someone who does not fully trust the government, I want to have confidence in the dropoff location information I find online
As a person who sees misinformation on the news, I want to vote knowing I have accurate information
As a person whos package always gets lost in the mail, I want to make sure my ballot doesn't get lost or misplaced
As a person who has been cheated by the postal service in the past, I want to vote with the confidence that my ballot is going to the right place
-This is just idle curiosity but I'd be interested to learn more about the specifics on this one. Like, someone who's had a check robbed out of their envelope and it might have been the mail carrier? That happens for sure -mya
