We need data collected through KoboToolbox to be analyzed and then visualized so that the findings can be incorporated in an article for the MERL Center

  • Please note: column K has duplicate numbers to indicate multiple people from the same organization (meaningful because in column L, different people from the same organization indicated different category)

Hi @Rabia2219 would you be available to attend one of our Monday community of practice meetings to explain more about the project and find a volunteer to work on this?

@akhaleghi Hi Abe, I apologize for the delay in responding but I missed the notification some how. After working with the original data source, we figured out a way to export the data in a format that would eliminate the requirements above. We are still waiting for the original author to provide the new data, and once confirmed, the requirements will change. I will consult with Bonnie then and write up a new set of requirements and will be able to explain more. Thank you for your cooperation!

@elliealbertson @salice Hello there, Need some help with the following:

Problem

Challenge with the data collected:

• Because of the way the survey was structured, participants were allowed to choose multiple answers for some questions and skip answering others
• Examples (these are just a few, almost all questions have the same issue):
  1. The question 'Which of the following best or most closely describes your title within your organization?' has 22 responses even though the number of participants was 12.*
  2. The question 'Which of the following Open Source solutions for Data Analysis have you heard of?' has only 2 responses, both different. The pie chart representation shows a 50-50 response.*
  3. The question 'Which of the following Open Source solutions for Data Reporting & Visualization have you heard of?' has only 1 response and the pie chart shows 100% selected that answer. see resources for visuals

@akhaleghi Sounds good, thanks! Rabia actually asked me to stop working on it in November, I think because of a related deadline. I should have left a comment. @Rabia2219 should this issue be updated?

We are retracting this issue as the person who needed the data analysis is not going to be publishing the article it was needed for. In the future, if we do need to reopen the issue, we will reach out to the original assignees to see if they are still interested in working on it. Thank you for your cooperation and patience!
