The Hack For LA Data Science team is a Community of Practice within the LA brigade seeking to make analytical and machine learning services available to local communities and organizations.
Here is the wrapper for the trafficsigns. I know @ryanmswan wanted to get something tangible pretty soon. The code has some refactoring to do and is missing features, but this first iteration shows a simple example of the data the API provides. You can check out the jupyter notebook I included. One direction to take with this, is to write an opensource wrapper library and release it on PIP. Depends on how much we want to invest in it.
