03: My First Research Ticket

Overview

In order for you to get up to speed in where we are with the project please do the following. This exercise will prepare you for your research role by informing you about the primary research that has been done within this project and by outlaying the organizational need for a design system framework.

[x] How we recruit participants for the user interviews: recruitment screener
[x] Interviews Recruitment details. This document includes the process from recruitment screener to user interview invitations. This document includes templates for approaching our participants who have reacted to the initial recruitment survey.
[x] Interview guide. This document specifies our interview procedures.
[x] After the user interviews we go through an affinity mapping exercise to analyze the results. Usually two people are assigned to analyze 1 interview. For more information about affinity mapping, please look here.
[x] After collecting the user interview insights through affinity mapping, the next research steps are: the creation of user personas, user stories, and user journey maps to inform the design (and development) team. For more information, please click here.
