Updating UXR understanding of current expungement laws and polices

Overview

Priorities for UXR for Launch prep are: 1) establishing our mastery and expertise on expungement in CA, 2) content terminology.

Given that this product is designed for the legal domain (clean slate policies and campaigns, legislation, criminal justice bureaucracy), accuracy and technical command are crucial.

To meet priority 1, the team will do research on the current laws and policies related to expungement in CA. The object is to boost the team's internal understanding of expungement, identify the related laws and policies related to expungement, and to distill that information to other teams.

Action Items

• [ ] Identify and summarize the most recent laws and policies on expungement, cite sources rigorously. Laws doc draft.
• [ ] Discuss findings in upcoming research meetings
• [ ] FigJam for discussion
• [ ] Create a shared document in Google

• [ ] Revise Wiki, glossary, other research documents, etc.

Looks like overlap and confusion between this issue and what a glossary is for the glossary work. left a comment in the doc, I think that doc is better repurposed for this issue as the content covers the needs of this issue moreso than a glossary.
