Overview

As part of our initiative to improve our Design system, the Design team is revisiting our current color system to ensure that it is accessible, culturally appropriate for our target audience, and complementary to the tone of our website.

Details

Improving the color system in our design system involves reassessing the current palette to address inconsistencies, enhance readability, and ensure accessibility. This requires a collaborative effort across disciplines to analyze hues, contrasts, and usage across interface elements. By leveraging design principles and user feedback, the aim is to develop a cohesive, scalable system that aligns with brand identity and enhances user experience. Documentation and integration into the design system framework are crucial for maintaining consistency and facilitating future development. Ultimately, this endeavor seeks to elevate the quality of digital products, foster positive user interactions, and strengthen brand recognition.

Progress: @saraisabelcf conducted research and will present it at the next All Teams meeting on April 5th Estimated Time to Completion (ETC): Design will then begin exploring color options which would take about 2 weeks. Blockers: none at the moment
