We have an opportunity to speak with someone who is in the community that we need to connect with.

The call with Shakima was productive, The biggest insights she gave us were around who the population was and what their needs are. The population she helps are more in need of immediate needs expungement is not top of mind over house and food. The other barrier was around those who might be willing and eligible might have higher charges on their record so a smaller charge of possession would not be as impactful if you still have other charges.
