Research is planning IUT2 of the landing page Will take place mid June Opportunities to do other types of testing – A/B, HeuristicAnalysis Additional Usability testing beyond just the landing page What specifically to teams want to test? Start new UT 1st week of July Planning steps in motion
Is Dev done with all the updates? Check in with Dev what is complete Check with Content – there will be some changes Dev hasn’t gotten to yet Other teams can observe testing – finalizing moderator guide for IUT2 of landing page UXR will do a quick 1-pager with idea of what focus is, what we’re doing, etc Training session invites will go out for that as well
Design – working on color auditing Why the purple? Research can assist with A/B Testing with current colors in wireframes Color system – continue that conversation Finishing up with auditing of the live website Developing our own design principles within specific teams and then broadening that out with the rest of the team – to do after the planning meeting Color theory considerations
Issue #924 Design – error prevention pop up for letter generator Completed journey didn’t feel complete – working on new pop up ideas “You’re one step closer to record clearance” – finalizing tone of voice Will have more iterations to show next week
Design is working on improving headers & typography Did we finish the mobile wireframe audits? Need to finalize and create an issue for Dev Change the headings before moving to master

Issue 924 - how will the user want to close the pop up window? Button use? What happens if user gets the letter reviewed by a lawyer? Can they make edits? How can we best guide the user through this? There are some discrepancies on the live website vs mobile - how can we work with dev to unify breakpoints and screen sizes Need to establish breakpoints for handoff to dev - so they know how the content will be structured Mobile interface screen sizes - currently using 375px width - what is best standard? Want to structure so dev has less decisions to make Headers - one or 2 lines? Character counts - should we develop guidelines for that? Yes - need to develop character counts and line counts for consistency. Think about that going forward Create character count for pop up Anita will look up dimensions and determine best practices for now If you look at last popup before this in master - it is much longer because it has 2 paragraphs - we may need to relook at text for consistency in pop ups Alexis & Liz will work on a user flow for this Also need to update the site map when this is finalized (later conversation)
Revisit breakpoints issue next week
FAQ page - had only one update with a new question but no design related updates Can this be tested later on in IUT2? Or IUT3? Can we get greenlight to work on? FAQ should be updated for content
PMs will build out roadmap for further IUT2 Design & Content will collab on the FAQ in the meantime

- Research would like Design/Content to provide any questions they are looking to have answered through this analysis and when they would like these questions answered
- Design: Majority of competitors have analogous and/or monochromatic color schemes. Illustrations of youthful characters are often use which may raise inclusivity issues.
- Mission statement: We should consider drafting a mission statement for EA. Team members are invited to the next planning meeting on Friday, July 7, 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. PST to discuss.
- Questions surrounding Accessibility (how do we want our product to be accessible to users?) and Privacy (how do we ensure our design and content also speaks to the privacy we provide users?)
- We should consider adding AI (chat GPT) to the competitor analysis as well
- Overall in the market, our product appears to be the only letter generator for expungement.

UXR Updates: working on getting a draft of a presentation for IUT2. Working to present it next month at an All Team Meeting. Think about what our research priorities are and would like to hear if there are any Design and Content needs UXR can support. We are thinking of researching more on accessibility and language. First, begin with Accessibility and a card sorting ex with Audrey and Michelle for the FAQ Github issue
About today: Today is a Design/Content sync but always encourage new volunteers to join a meeting to shadow and learn more about what the team is
Design Updates: Worked on prioritizing issues for the roadmap. Working on wrapping up issues that are in progress. Working on a color system presentation for Design. Would need attributes before finalizing the color system
Content: Onboarding two new volunteers. Also worked on prioritizing issues. Collab between Sam and Anita with creating workshops to work on attributes
Direction of next meetings: Having two all-team meetings. One in the morning and one in the evening so everyone has a chance to join. We are working on the roadmap and (mission?)
Project Roadmap:We are working on a soft launch of our website so that we can approach community partners. Roadmap is a WIP and dates are completely set. Separated by teams. Want to see how we can also measure metrics

Content - 2 new content members for a team of 5!
Design - Justin returned as co-lead Wednesday design meeting - team going over issues for FAQ page & user flow Update on card sorting - fairly content with results and final questions But a question on Expunge Assist - our tool is not called “expunge assist” - its a letter generator Looked at Shopify FAQ - helped us to determine language for function of FAQ - maybe add imagery Potential for adding more tools under the Expunge Assist brand Issues - how to best create new issues that combine & categorize updates across teams (for less issues total on the board) Dev has a few ideas on how to refine issues Will discuss further & experiment
Need to refine language as a whole, and ensure that terms are used consistently throughout the site WIll check in on that later - make sure FAQ matches up to rest of site in terms of language Could we create a list of all the terms that are in question?
