Context Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are increasingly important framework that need to be considered in all aspects of UXR work. Helpful DEI resources are needed to orient FOLA team members to foundational DEI information within the context of UXR so they can better identify how to best incorporate DEI into FOLA's work.

Goals To better understand the role of DEI in UXR work and begin thinking about FOLA's work with DEI in mind.

Action Items

• [x] Conduct google search to identify potentially helpful DEI informational resources within the UXR context
  • [x] Review the identified resources to screen out irrelevant/potentially unhelpful resources
  • [x] Draft short 1-2 paragraph Google document that:
  • [x] Talks about why DEI is important within UXR at a broad level & includes potentially helpful DEI resources linked within the text
    • [x] Download selected written DEI resources & upload them to the relevant DEI Google Drive folder incase the link changes/don't work in the future
  • [x] Discusses intersectionality briefly & why it can be something important to keep in mind for the work FOLA does
