[ ] Future direction of incubator project - Terragrunt and Terraform
Overview
As an Ops Developer, I'd like there to be a basic demonstration of deploying a docker image so I can understand and practice deploying on the Incubator platform.
The Incubator is a terraform project that provisions aws resources to deploy web applications. By deploying a docker image, we can document the experience and process for future deployments.
Let's try to deploy dockerbogo/docker-nginx-hello-world on Incubator.
Action Items
[ ] Setup Terraform configuration (see Resource 1.01, 1.02)
[ ] Use dockerbogo/docker-nginx-hello-world for docker image
[ ] Deploy to Incubator(see Resource 1.01)
[ ] Create documentation tickets covering the process
Conversation in Ops meeting 3/13 that Docker needs to be part of the documentation, but consensus was that having this docker image to deploy is not essential and needs to be reevaluated.
