Visualization of parking data to assist in understanding of the effects of parking policies on a neighborhood by neighborhood basis in the City of Los Angeles
As a user, I want to see a pin marker on the Mapbox map when I select a place (address) so that I can easily visualize the location I have chosen.
Description
Currently, when a user selects a place (address) on the map, there is no visual indicator of the selected location. To improve the user experience and provide visual feedback, we need to implement a pin marker that will appear on the Mapbox map when a place is selected.
Acceptance Criteria
[ ] Design a pin marker icon that is visually distinct and easily recognizable on the map.
[ ] Implement logic to show the pin marker on the map at the selected location when a place is selected.
[ ] Ensure that the pin marker is positioned accurately at the selected location.
[ ] Test the implementation to ensure that the pin marker appears and disappears appropriately based on user interactions.
