Review the the OCS logo design variations on Figma

ebele-oputa commented 3 years ago

@ebele-oputa tell design team to add document naming to the communication design

amy-c-w commented 3 years ago

I reviewed the two styles, and prefer the original logo.

AdesinaBernard commented 3 years ago

I will like for the team to give instant feedback on the slides and logo, so I put them side by side on Figma for quick review.

sonu-k commented 3 years ago

I agree with Amy too. I liked the original better. It's neatly laid out :)

Last meeting, we voted for option 2 of the horizontal logo but did not go ahead with the vertical logo because we thought the logo with capitalised text was better. So now we have two options again with the capitalised and uncapitalised text to make a final decision. Check the files in Figma or see screenshots below

sonu-k commented 3 years ago

@AdesinaBernard : I vote for the uncapitalised one.

ebele-oputa commented 3 years ago

@AdesinaBernard I know you want to wrap this up but we couldn't come to a conclusion because:

  1. We need a square and rectangular outline for each to show how the logos will look in both spaces
  2. We need the text in the second design for Option 2 to be on a single line. This will help create reading consistency and flow of idea

You can create these changes within the week and update so people make their comments before the next meeting. Thank you for all your effort

AdesinaBernard commented 3 years ago

Added the approved logos to the templates. Awaiting team review and feedback

@kvnw2020 On slide 6 I left the following note

Lets change this to have all the links that a person might want to use.

Copy: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1HCIJAMYNm_PgKTkVQFQZiTjR-HhNHvtHXL81dBrwhpc/copy

Preview https://docs.google.com/document/d/1HCIJAMYNm_PgKTkVQFQZiTjR-HhNHvtHXL81dBrwhpc/

Edit https://docs.google.com/document/d/1HCIJAMYNm_PgKTkVQFQZiTjR-HhNHvtHXL81dBrwhpc/edit

Let's do this on each item (docs, sheets, slides). On the forms slide, preview is replaced by viewform.

Also please update slide 5 with all the new links

ExperimentsInHonesty commented 2 years ago

~@kvnw2020 Please fix the footer, I messed up the spacing while trying to fix the page numbering which is not currently auto, but needs to be.~ @kvnw2020 Nevermind, I sorted it out. Please see changes

jonarcisse commented 2 years ago

@kvnw2020 Can you check the template to make sure all the headings are formatted correctly. When using it, it looks like the formatting isn't consistent.

kvnw2020 commented 2 years ago

I made some adjustments to the template. Please try using the template again.

Issue hackforla/product-management#56

ExperimentsInHonesty commented 2 years ago

@mkleibman Not sure if I mentioned it. And it looks like its missing from above. But all the images we use have to have a source provided added to our credits issue

I will add it to the action items above.

mkleibman commented 2 years ago

Should be all done, checking on Forms A, B -- once checked off in my above comment, this can be closed. Thanks.

Will also add guides + links (with open sourcing) to Issue hackforla/knowledgebase-content#29
