Overview

HfLA Product Managers need the documents that come out of their projects to have a consistent look and feel that has been coordinated with HfLA org leadership to maintain brand consistency both in their project and with other projects in the portfolio.

Action Items

[x] Review the existing examples of project Communication Guides
[x] Copy to your project google drive and edit to reflect your project
[x] Add a link to your Communication Guide to [list of Work in Progress versions] (https://github.com/hackforla/knowledgebase-content/issues/29)
[ ] Complete Figma letter and report form for Google docs
[ ] Create Wiki guidance for future use of generic template
[ ] Review with Bonnie and revise as appropriate based on notes
[ ] Finalize Guide and move link to resources

Currently reviewing BOP and GYR Google Slide Templates for inspiration. Created two potential Cover slide for Communicate guide. Created index slide for Communication guide. Currently working on About Slide.

@ExperimentsInHonesty's feedback was to:

[x] Included the project name/text with the Logo for more clarity especially for external audience.
[x] Use a different colour as second variant for the Google Form
[x] Liaise with @ebele-oputa on how to migrate templates to the shared drive

I will like for the team to give instant feedback on the slides and logo, so I put them side by side on Figma for quick review.

I agree with Amy too. I liked the original better. It's neatly laid out :)

Last meeting, we voted for option 2 of the horizontal logo but did not go ahead with the vertical logo because we thought the logo with capitalised text was better. So now we have two options again with the capitalised and uncapitalised text to make a final decision. Check the files in Figma or see screenshots below

@AdesinaBernard I know you want to wrap this up but we couldn't come to a conclusion because:

We need a square and rectangular outline for each to show how the logos will look in both spaces
We need the text in the second design for Option 2 to be on a single line. This will help create reading consistency and flow of idea

You can create these changes within the week and update so people make their comments before the next meeting. Thank you for all your effort

~@kvnw2020 Please fix the footer, I messed up the spacing while trying to fix the page numbering which is not currently auto, but needs to be.~ @kvnw2020 Nevermind, I sorted it out. Please see changes

@kvnw2020 Can you check the template to make sure all the headings are formatted correctly. When using it, it looks like the formatting isn't consistent.

In overview (page 5) and individual pages (page 6-13) make sure the following links are available for Google sheets, slides, forms for the following functions: "Overview of template, "edit template", "preview template", "copy template".
Page 6 see notes to add missing items
Page 10 forms C & D are missing
Why are there 2 different headers?

OCS Style Guide Review:

[x] Check that index links to correct slide
[x] Google Slides (title slide): Re-organize open/close slide
[x] Add thank you slide
[x] Slide images should match forms for consistency
[x] Images (slides last four) should be in the template, not OCS guide (Forms A, B, C, D moved & linked)
[x] Forms C, D final edits saved in Drive & Figma along with master PSD files.
[x] Cleaned up OCS Guide banner images folder in Drive
[x] Corrected and updated source links in OCS Guide forms pages (ready for final review)

Forms C, D Change Notes a/o 3/23:

[x] Change blue filter to tan for consistency.
[x] Put a white footer background to all forms C, D so logo easier to read
[x] Standardize footer size and use larger size for forms C, D
