As a user I want to select an organizatio and get updates on new events from them Reputation system
As a user I want to get emails on events so I can decide on if I want to attend
As a user I want events categorized in some way so I may navigate them easily
As an organizer / mentor I want to avoid duplication of effort
As a user, I want to find and create groups for my interests
As an organizer for a local non-profit I want to find talent to help with a technical project / difficulty
As a user, I want to create a profile so I can network with other users
As a (code language X) user, I to find other (code language X) users to hang out with and compare notes
As an attendee, I want to see a list of events and be able to click an iCal link and add events to my calendar easily, since some events don't have iCal

As a mentor / participant I want easy info / directions so I know about last minute changes. Text msg updates
As a user, I want to be notified when groups related to my interests are created.
As a user, I want to sort by group and show overlapping events so I can plan my time accordingly.
As a member of the tech community, I want to stay apprised of the avaiable groups so that I can connect w/ like-minded people.
As a nerd, I want to see tech events and be able to filter out "noise" based on location, topic / tags
As a parent, I want to learn about opportunies for my kids / educational opportunities
As a user, I want ease of access and real time updates to events and collaboration meetings so that I can easily manage my schedule.
As a promoter, I want to display my event in a pleasing format so people will come to my show.
As a user, I want to sort by distance, so that I can be lazy and feel intellectual.
As and entrepreneur and developer, I want to have a user friendly method to connect with other entrepreneurs and developers for networking and business opportunities
Research schema.org standards for events vs Facebook & Meetup. Data standards
As a new person in town, I want to find out what kind of projects are being done in the community so I can get involved and make stuff
As an Ops team member of OpenWorks, I want to have public event pull out of Basecamp, so the public can see events.
