Submit is slow, feedback is slow.
Can you close the edit window after submit, and update local state immediately? Maybe an icon indicating that uploading is in progress is enough.
If uploading failed, you can rollback the update, and allow a user to restore the previous edition. Or just add a button to reupload local state.
This will make UX smoother.
