What approach would be more acceptable to deal with private 'gists'? #455

Description of the problem / feature request / question:

In Github Docs, it says the following:

Secret gists aren't private. If you send the URL of a secret gist to a friend, they'll be able to see it. However, if someone you don't know discovers the URL, they'll also be able to see your gist.

I know we can't change this default behavior in Gists but what if I would like to save a private snippet for some reason. Is this something that could somehow be related to the Lepton roadmap (Bitbucket/Drive/etc integration to allow more 'private snippets') or even another approach?

Thanks :)
