7 years ago I added two files to the GoogleDrive: FMA_Building Count Metrics.csv and Fireblock_Building Count Metrics.csv
In QGIS intersected Portland Building Footprints with our zoning layer and Fireblock/FMA layer. The two files here have aggregated values per Fireblock and per FMA. The schema of each zone is roughly the same. If these tables get added to the db, i'll update the data dictionary.
One thing I may add is total sq ft of buildings broken down by zoning (I currently only have averages). I'll post the original table that I've summarized from (it's 100 mb's, so I'll need to find somewhere to put it). I'll also have a python notebook with the process, but most of this basic group by summaries.
Fields:
- Fireblock or FMA zone for aggregation
- BldgCount_Total Building count total
- YearBuilt_Avg Average year built (all buildings per fma or fireblock)
- BdlgSQF_Avg Average square foot (all buildings per fma or fireblock)
- NumStories_Avg Average number of stories (all buildings per fma or fireblock)
- Commercial_BldgSQF_Avg Average square foot of commercial buildings (per fma or fireblock)
- Industrial_BldgSQF_Avg Average square foot of industrial buildings (per fma or fireblock)
- MultiDwelling_BldgSQF_Avg Average square foot of multidwelling buildings (per fma or fireblock)
- OpenSpace_BldgSQF_Avg Average square foot of open space buildings (per fma or fireblock)
- SingleDwelling_BldgSQF_Avg Average square foot of single home dwellings (per fma or fireblock)
- BldgCount_Commercial Total commerical building count (per fma or fireblock)
- BldgCount_Industrial Total industrial building count
- BldgCount_MultiDwelling Total multidwelling building count
- BldgCount_OpenSpace Total open space building count
- BldgCount_SingleDwelling Total single dwelling building count
