have you heard of the update nag
actually where did that go
have you heard of the update nag
it doesn't exist for 11.16, no, I have no idea why (probably related to korean and the others having 11.16 as latest)
Also, if it did exist, then we'd (probably) have to Mii Mine, rather than do normal Seedminer
well I know friend list is usable because it wasnt updated in 11.16->11.17(but 11.15->11.16), but browser data was updated, seems like that doesnt count, didnt know that.
especially with the issues we have right now regarding bb3.bin from the injector having no menuhax options and people using that instead of the one from the release, Id also say bannerbomb3 < super-skaterhax currently
Also even if Nin was to decide “let’s actually block 11.16 from using the browser”
Also (not related to the above) this would technically also allow for very very minor cleanup, as it would allow the merging of the Updating Firmware and Updating Firmware (KOR) pages. I just remembered 11.15 KOR O3DS exists… I love weird edge cases
If 11.16 is supported I would rather users stay on 11.16 for the off chance that bhax doesn't work as nicely for them (it is a bit of a complicated exploit), then users have the option of BB3 still, whereas on 11.17 you're stuck bruteforcing bhax until it works.
11.14 and 11.15 we update N3DS because, like, do you really want to subject users to mii mining? But normal seedminer isn't an exploit that takes 3 hours to complete.
The overall idea isn't bad, though.
With nimdsphax now being a thing, I do believe it would be fair to consider that the currently recommended pathway for N3DS 11.16 could lead to overall more confusion (or run into more issues) than super-skaterhax.
Right now, the pathway for N3DS 11.16 currently is: Seedminer -> bb3 -> menuhax67 -> nimdsphax
This has several issues that could come up:
Yes, super-skaterhax does have pretty bad reliability, but imo the bad reliability is a more than acceptable trade-off (especially now given nimdsphax) given the many more potential “failure points” or “user error points” that one could run into compared to super-skaterhax
