Hey all! New meeting set and to dos from the previous meeting summarized. Please write in agenda items as needed.

See y'all on Thursday at BCCRC!

2 updates:

  1. @klgray25 and I will be meeting with Lance, the head of systems (aka IT) at the GSC, on Thursday to discuss how to get access to Orca.

  2. I asked for an update from UBC IT for wifi. The person who I've been in contact with (Sarah Gardner) says that everything is in place for us to have wifi in the Life Sciences building from Oct 12-14. Their finance person will send me an invoice for the amount soon.

emreerhan commented 6 years ago

I just got the invoice. Is there someone on our team who can handle this payment?

ababaian commented 6 years ago

@emreerhan I can put it on my CC and do the re-imbursement stuff later. Email me the details.

Heya! See y'all tomorrow at 6pm :)

baraaorabi commented 6 years ago

Hello all, sorry I couldn't make it to today's meeting. I had a last minute research emergency. @klgray25, if you're tomorrow at SFU, can we meet about participant sorting?

klgray25 commented 6 years ago

No worries. Sure, I am busy until 11:30 and don't plan to stay super late tomorrow (ie. let's not start later than 4). We did discuss a few changes in how to reach out to participants and prioritize them, so would be good to chat before you start sending out emails tomorrow. Also, does next Tuesday work for yo to meet and talk and go through the participant applications? We were thinking around 6 somewhere along the Millennium Line.

Tomorrow I'm free after my class at 1:30. Should we meet then?

Thanks for your hard work everyone, sorry I am stranded on the Island and feel very useless as an organizing member, kudos to all!

are we at any point thinking of a wrap up publication on the quantified processes and progresses, not unlike the 2016 F1000?

ababaian commented 6 years ago

That's a good idea @NoushinN, you should head that up : )

ababaian commented 6 years ago

@jenjaelin Are we meeting tonight?

baraaorabi commented 6 years ago

I believe we are.
