How can I disable the accelerometer to save power? #196

Is there a way to do this, and is it possible to do it when the orientation is locked in gnome? This should allow for some (minor) power-saving.

The desktop environment needs to call ReleaseAccelerometer for the accelerometer not to be polled anymore. API documentation is here: https://developer.gnome.org/iio-sensor-proxy/
