I'd much rather not merge patches like this. If it doesn't work on recent kernels, then it doesn't work.
We don't really need a list like the one we had at the beginning of the project, so I will not be merging your change. Thank you for the contribution nonetheless!

README: Remove "Tested on" list
It was useful when we only had a couple of entries, but it's rather
pointless now that pretty much all the systems should work, and the ones
that don't should be listed in open issues on GitHub.
the specific kernel version is important. i tried a few (4.4.09,4.4.10,4.4.12, 4.4.13, 4.4.14, 4.4.14.8) and a few more
