favicon is not working? #54

I added a favicon.ico file into static folder, it has no effect at all

In case anyone else has this issue, I struggled with the same problem for a while. It turned out my browser (Edge) caches favicons really aggressively; using an inprivate/incognito window is not enough to clear the favicon cache. I can only check if my favicon is updating by opening my site in an incognito window in a browser I almost never use (Chrome for me).
