@djnavarro this means that we can switch between visual and regular editor without spurious diffs. But it does mean that in the regular editor, you might see some stuff move around when you save. The main advantage of this form is the one line per sentence which tends to lead to better diffs in github.
I didn't closely review this and it's likely that it's create a few small problems that we'll need to fix as we encounter them.
