Just a quick note: I added in some "dummy" attribute values last night that we're ready to change today now that @haggis78 has reported back with info on each of the witnesses. You can probably just open the ODD yourself in oXygen to do that, or I can show you how to do it in the RomaJS tool (which is pretty good for this kind of customization work, I'm finding). If we can take a look at the ODD schema maybe for a few minutes after class today, I think you'll be ready to roll on with a working schema and a method to update it as you go.
Great work on meeting project checkpoint 2, @haggis78, @amberpeddicord , and @ChinoyIndustries !
Your team has been working hard on the stage we call "document data modeling" which is going to be complex as you're writing XML that compares multiple versions of a "work", that is, the documentation of the founding of the Brecon Church School.
Thanks to @amberpeddicord's work over the weekend, we have a starter ODD file that we're nearly ready to use to generate your project Relax NG customization of the TEI.
And there's some XML underway by @ChinoyIndustries and @amberpeddicord to begin "wrapping your heads" around these documents. Since Amber was working on the ODD schema, I think her XML markup is furthest along in representing the document structure, and it has some

witnesses marked to begin plotting where and how the texts diverge: Take a look at BreconChurchCarter_S.xmlWe'll want to take a look at the new ODD file and work on customizing it to put your attribute values in place that designate witnesses, as well as consider whether to customize some of the other attributes that come with the TEI "textcrit" (or critical apparatus) toolkit. See https://github.com/haggis78/BreconChurch/issues/7 for more on this.
A quick reminder: I don't think KSD32 is a member of this repo, and you may want to invite her so the whole instructor team has access in case you need any of us to make a quick intervention in the files.
