Can't sync to my second computer #71

Hi,

I installed the latest version of seafile on my home debian server.

The HTTP is https://seafileserver:8443 (using nginx) to http://127.0.0.1:8000

My first computer is local Windows 8.1. It took couple hours to sync my 60gb folders (14 000 3-5mb files).

I installed seafile on my work computer (10 mbits internet connectivity between work and home).

First, the download stopped at 4%. I waitted and finnaly decided to kill/reopen the client. It downloaded to 13% and stucked again. This morning, it was still stuck at 13%, doing nothing. I restarted the client and I'm now 15%.

1- Why is the client not retrying? 2- Why do I need to restart the client?

Very annoying...

The client should retry automatically. Please check the log at c:/users//ccnet/seafile.log and c:/users//ccnet/ccnet.log

Can't see anything unusual from the log. It's most likely a network connectivity problem. Maybe there is a firewall between the client and the server.

Let say that Seafile doesn't support WAN.

Restarting the client (Quit/Start) make it continue sync, but it won't until I restart the client.

can we conclude that there is nothing you can do?
