ERROR: for seafile a bytes-like object is required, not 'str' #248

Hi Seafile community,

When I want to start a seafile 7 instance using docker-compose I always get the following error straight away.

on Ubunutu 20.04

Hey @AlexanderProd I have the same issue. Were you able to resolve this? Do you use this on a raspberry pi?

Nope, unfortunately I couldn’t resolve it and I didn’t use a raspberry pi.

I also had this problem. Please check your port configuration! I had another process which used the port which I've chosen for seafile. This was a problem of docker compose and is not seafile related.
