What are the hosting requirements? Do we want to rap in the cloud, or not? Etc.

The limit of Google's API is 250.000 request per day, so we can probably just use it with out worries.

I will purchase the domain and the server space and provide FTP user info for the team

Fine for me, if you want to host everything, we will also need some server-side app running in Python and NodeJs, otherwise we can just use your domain for the front-end and my server for the back-end.
