we started this mini project at HAMR 2016 and we aim to complete it

and a dedicated host.. both of which MECH Multimedia will be providimg before September 24th 2016
the goal of this project is an ambitious one so i want to acknowledge the limitations and suggest some options

I have noticed that even the most advanced systems still have issues with word / voice recognition,
Siri and google voice as the leaders in the pack
both of which have issues, i also believe youtube close caption uses google voice which is still not as accurate as we would like for this project.
at the beginning of this project we set out to use the RapGenius database and i feel this is the direction we should go.. we should perfect the rhyme distinction and use the lyrics on rap genius as our base. this way we can partner with them in the future and take this product to market..
how the end product should work
users should be able to select a song title from a list and while the song plays our code similply analyzes the pre linked lyrics from rap genius.
users should also have an option to place thier own lyrics into the app for analysis. at the end of which the recieve a complexity ranking.
this is loosely how i want the automatic rap judge to work.
Thesis and presentation
it was mentioned we will be presenting this so we need to start setting timelines. not only will this app be influential but we could change music awards and charts forever
