We would also really like to access real time data via the API. Has there been
any official word from Google about this request? For example we would like to
query the list of the 50+ websites we have and show them in order of for
example current users with the most at the top. This would give us a dashboard
to know what is happening for all our customers websites and be really valuable.

wallboards and displays.

We have a dashboard in our office showing several KPI from our site. Today we
use another web analytics system just because it is not possible to retrieve
live data from Google Analytics. The number we would like to show is active
visitors on site right now.

We are a large news site currently using a specific real-time web analytics
tool and create feeds based on that tool's API.
It would be immensely appreciated if we could use Real time Google Analytics
API instead.
Keep up the good work.

While this sounds fun and all, it seems unlikely that Google will be rushing to
implement a streaming API into Analytics. I'd recommend you check out
Hummingbird (http://hummingbirdstats.com/) or something similar if you really
need a realtime dashboard. Hummingbird is opensource and there are probably
several other options available.

I work for a record company building a realtime dashboard of stuff for use by
our marketeers / artists at gigs etc; most of our sites use Google Analytics, a

Please build it soon as possible.
I don't thing it would be that hard, but really useful stuff to us.
I was thinking in an alternative to get the realtime information from a logged
session in a computer, just to be able to see it on Android.
We check our visitors access in realtime and all the time. Its good to ask our
team to push the turbo switch :) or just to work on sucessful points.
This implementation will be REALLY appreciated.
