[v3.9]: Printing with `?print-pdf` ignores title slide #2685

Kia ora everyone,

I have a website where I publish all my science teaching notes. I use a combination of Pandoc and Hugo to build the site, hence why I am still using RevealJS 3.9.

I am trying to setup printing for my students who want it but am running into a problem. When I view some slides using ?print-pdf, the title slide shows up.

https://science.lesueur.nz/12phy/as91173/slides/magnetism.html?print-pdf#/title-slide

But when I open the print dialogue and send it to PDF, it does not show the first slide, and except shows a blank slide.

Magnetism.pdf

Can anyone help? Cheers :)

Hello,

Same thing for me. The title slide is shown on the output (browser) but the first page of the pdf file is blank.

I use reveal.js as a part of CodiMD.

one presentation ready to print here (for test purpose) : https://codi-aix-marseille.beta.education.fr/p/AXA-zqY7d?print-pdf#/

I don't how to help.

EDIT : after more testing, it seems to be a bug of firefox (hum ?). the printing works with chromium. I'm working on ubuntu 20.04

Anyone ? Thanks.

Hello,

I use reveal.js as part of CodiMD / Hedgedoc as well and can confirm that I am facing the same issue only with Firefox (97.0.2 (64-bit), macos). Title slide is blank, and so are all the headings in the rest of the slides.

Printing it using a different browser works as expected. I have no idea how to fix it though. Hope this helps.
