Code blocks in speaker notes in external markdown files are not rendered properly #777

Hi,

First of all, thanks so much for this awesome tool!

I've been having an issue when using code blocks inside speaker notes when using an external markdown file. I've posted a question on StackOverflow but I'm starting to think maybe this is a bug. It looks like code blocks in speaker notes, when coming from an external markdown file, get rendered with <p> tags instead of with <pre> tags. They render properly when using inline markdown.
