Filter feature (in code) not consistent #44

The terminology is inconsistent. Sometimes we pass 'single-', sometimes we pass 
'single-*'. Also, these are hard coded into the functions that return available 
template files instead of the context being passed to them.

Need to revisit this and apply a wholistic solution.
