Faucet Device not switch #4

Hi, its all working well. But, is it possible to use the Faucet Type in Homekit as opposed to to switch type? It would look so much cooler.

Is there any progress towards making this appear as a Sprinkler accessory type in Homekit rather than a switch? I see something similar has been done with the Orbit B-Hyve (https://github.com/codyc1515/homebridge-orbit-bhyve), so wasn't sure if this was something that's being worked on?

🙄 yes that...!

I'll have to study it first. The valve accessory type/service is something that wasn't supported by HomeKit when I created this.

Also the reasons this is a switch were

  1. to imitate the toggle for the LinkTap on/off state.
  2. its using the concept of a timer switch or snap-back switch.
