Ubuntu 19.10 Minimal ISO supported? #176

Just a quick wee question, is the minimal ISO install of Ubuntu 19.10 supported? Since it's barebones, it offers maximum possible performance while also having a tiny memory footprint. Being able to install it would be a blessing. # #

To put in a nutshell, no, it is not supported.

That is a shame, as it's ideal for getting every last drop of performance. Is it still planned for being supported, or has that been dropped?

There are still plans to use minimal ISO instead of desktop ISO. But as Wubi has never been a tool to install a minimal system for experts, the result of the installation should be still a system with a desktop environment for beginners. Missing parts on minimal ISO should be downloaded automatically during installation. Maybe, your intention is a little bit different from ours.
