Export not working in Inkscape 0.48

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installed Inkscape 0.48 on Windows 7 (64)
2. Installed inkscape2tikz by copying tikz_extport.py, tikz_export_effect.inx 
and tikz_export_output.inx to inkscape/share/extensions
3. No menu entry can be found anywhere and TikZ is not listed in the file 
formats under "Save As" either.

It seems that this extension was developed for an older version of Inkscape. Is 
it possible to change/adapt to Inkscape 0.48?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The problem is solved now, it was neither the extensions nor inkscapes' fault. 
I downloaded the three files with Internet Explorer and they got messed up 
during saving. With the correct files the export works nicely.

I run into the same problem today. But it seems that not the saving was the 
problem. It doesn't work for me with the link declared as "repository" in the 
linux and os installation section. But in contrast the direct links to the 
files in the project home section does works fine.

Hope this helps anybody else.
