Compare the moderns data loglikelihood from the estimated Q and F from the modern+ancient pooled data and the modern data loglikelihood from the estimated Q and F from just the modern data. Check if the loglikelihoods are entirely different or not. If different, it shows there is additional variation between the moderns not accounted for by the ancient source populations.
