Arduino Application Icon #12

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What change would like to see?
Arduino icon fixed for mac client so there is no white border around the edge.

Why?
It is a minor visual issue which would make it appear in the dock neatly,
perhapse even a redesign
like Processing.

Would this cause any incompatibilities with previous versions? If so, how
can these be mitigated?

None.

want me to remake the existing one to
look better than it does now? as I am quite good with ps and il

I created a version for a new Arduino 17 Icon. It should more look like the
Processing icon. So both IDE Icons looking like a big family. It contains the
original vector file as an .eps, .icns-file for mac and .ico-file for windows. I
added a .png for you to see how it looked before and after. What do you think?
If you
want some changes just call me: thomas[at]envis-precisely[dot]com

I´m using the new icon and it´s quite good looking ;)

I inspected the eps file and I must offer some praise. This is truly excellent
work. Even
down to the grouping and layering, everything is clean and logical. Very
impressive. I
have always prided myself on extending my programmer/engineer practices into my
graphic projects. This artwork was created to my own standards, and I cannot
offer a
greater complement.
