What user actions led to this? Can you reproduce it, in case how?

ssnyder commented 6 years ago

I just try to open the view while editing a .puiml file....that I know is a valid file and the view does not show up anywhere. Don't have to do anything special. Also, the syntax highlighting was not working either). Since this error occurred, I have installed the ASCIIDoctor editor plugin which works (with that same file)....but I preferred this plugin because of the "live" updating, and it was faster.

I had been using this plugin successfully, but not for a while. I uninstalled and then re-installed the plugin, and still no view. This was the only log entry I found that seemed to mention the plantuml plugin - so I hoped this would help figure out the problem. Since I last used the plugin, I'm sure I've installed/removed/updated some plugins - it's been a while.

So you don't actually know when this entry appeared. This entry seems related to hitting the fit (to canvas size) button in the toolbar. Since this should only happen if the view is visible, I doubt this is related to the problem of opening the view. You say the syntax highlighting in the puml editor didn't work? Which plugin is the puml editor part of, where is its update site?

To follow up, I would like to see the puml file. And please indicate the Eclipse (Neon, Oxygen?) and plantuml versions.

Sorry it took me so long to reply. Apparently I just had to reset my perspective, and then re-configure it with the views the way I like it , and all was right with the world again. My suspicion is that it was more eclipse related than this plugin. I'm closing the issue as a result. thank you for your quick response!
