Als user who did not take part in a specific campaign I would like to find and access data that are not yet open access. Currently I need to get an account in the HALO-DB to find out who owns the data. Then I need to contact the campaign PI by email to get access to the campaign. Wouldn't it be easier to just click on the dataset I am interested in and get a notification with further instructions (e.g. to sign a data protocol) or a download link once someone has approved it ...
