Check HALO flights for other aircrafts near HALO #45

I am a scientific user of measurements from an instrument which is easily influenced by other aircrafts if they pass near the HALO flight track. Hence, I want to screen HALO flights for approaches of other aircrafts. Accessing the ADS-B data, e.g. from flight radar 24, might solve this. An access of these data as attached files to the measurement flight would be convenient. Thus, I would gain a higher accuracy of my scientific studies.

Could ADS-B data recorded by the HALO or campaign members, or would we solely rely on an external service? By using flightradar24 we would need to have a look to the terms and conditions. Maybe a paid account would be needed to use the data in a commercial application as the HALO-DB.

It would be good if one could link the data-base with the IAGOS-data base to look for IAGOS-flights during the HALO observations.

Regarding the question and remark of @bjoernbroetz: In the current state HALO cannot receive ADS-B data due to missing "ADS-B in" receiver & antenna. Therefore an external service is at the moment the only option.

When using flightradar24, we might requite a business account (500 $ / year).

The business account allows to access aircraft data for the past three years. However, flightradar24 has no default solution for downloading automatically data of all aircrafts in a specific radius around HALO.
