Background image loading too slow #24

This bug makes an otherwise very attractive application completely unusable.

The problem is that it loads the original image, so if it is big it takes a lot of time. I have to create a resized version for it...

If someone can provide a better description of the actual problem so i can try to reproduce, or a test case, i can look at it. Otherwise I will close due to age, in 30 days from now if there is no further activity.
