Error running Python with import of NumPy

5. Where did you install Python(x,y) itself?
a. default path

6. Have you installed Python(x,y):
    a. For "Current user only"
    b. For "All users" - Yes

7. What is your operating system?
a. Windows XP
    b. Windows Vista - Yes
c. Windows 7
d. Windows 8

8. Is the operating system 64 bit?

9. When you installed Python(x,y), were you logged in as :
a. a regular user
    b. an administrator of the machine <-

10. If you are using Windows Vista/7, have you installed Python(x,y):
    a. simply by double-clicking on the installer <-

11. Regarding installed software on your machine, how did you clean your
machine before installing Python(x,y)  (multiple answers are possible):
a. you didn't do anything, you installed Python(x,y) directly on your

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try to run a Python script inside Eclipse with "from numpy import *"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I thought the script would run. Instead I see:

  File "C:\python275\lib\site-packages\numpy\core\__init__.py", line 5, in <module>
    import multiarray
ImportError: DLL load failed: %1 is not a valid Win32 application.

Please provide any additional information below.

Does it fail from within IPython? or Spyder?

Eclipse is no longer bundled in Python(x,y) - The above executed on my system 
using Eclipse Juno.

Do you have multiple Python interpreters installed?
