Hello,

Pythonxy already includes Traits and TraitsUI which also allow you to make GUIs 
in a very simple way. Especially for "quick scientific interfaces", when you 
have multiple parameters and want to change them and see what happens. It also 
includes Chaco for easy data plotting integration in the interface.

Add to the list formlayout, guiqwt and guidata. What does it have that the all 
of the options listed don't?

Also, it seems dormant - last version was 3 years ago (2010).

Try guidata - it's part of pxy. The samples are accessible from the launcher.
