problem on import in Android 13 #120

I tried with version 1.8.1(and oldest) to import a data base, but a mensage is showed in Android 13: Storage access required.

I Tried in LineageOS and in Galaxy phone.

Have some way to resolve this in my side?

Same problem here with Fairphone 5 and Android 13. So I have top merge the data in my PC

I believe I fixed this for android in pull request #132

This is still an issue and completely breaks imports.

I also ran into this today with Androidc14 (GrapheneOS) in a Google Pixel 7a ... Is there a workaround to import the CSV file?

@DamageIncorporated as far as I can see choices are

@hamaluik is there a possibility of a maintenance release to fix this?

thank you for your reply,

shortly after running into this, I settled for option one: In daily use, timecop is way to good to ditch it for a backup issue I (hopefully ;-) ) rarely need.

In my case I was moving to a new device and just used old and new in parallel until the next monthly report, so there was no severe problem.

I just filed this issue to raise awareness.

Similar here I am think. I'll just using the old phone for timecop until next report data and then move to new device.

Unfortunate to lose historic data on new device. such is life
